Chiropractor Essex VT Dr. Wendy Mehaffey

Chiropractor Essex VT

We are lucky to live in a community that is surrounded by year round outdoor activity and fun. From the biking trails to the ski slopes, the playing fields to local running races — it’s easy to see we all love our sports. Wherever you train and whatever your goals, a passion for movement connects us all. And while those hours spent playing sports and ripping through exercise sessions increase our overall health, they can also cause unwanted pain, tension and tightness. Our Essex chiropractors are here to help!

Epic Performance

Our team chiropractor works with the University of Vermont & St. Michael's collegiate athletes, as well as weekend warriors. Epic Performance is just as excited to help you get out of pain so you can run your first 5k as we are to work with the International athletes at the World Games. We believe every athlete, regardless of their level deserves the best in sports chiropractic care.

We provide sports chiropractic care, integrative dry needling, advanced soft tissue techniques, as well as massage therapy to athletes in the Greater Essex Area.

How Can Chiropractic Care Help You?

Many people dismiss chiropractic as being something only for back pain, but chiropractic treatment can be used to treat a wide variety of physical issues, such as migraines and headaches, chronic pain, carpal tunnel, pain due to injury or muscle strain, and much more.

What Kind of Training Does a Chiropractor Have?

Chiropractic doctors go through a minimum of four years of schooling at a chiropractic college, generally preceded by an undergraduate degree in the basic sciences or several years of experience in a prior relevant health care field.

Students of chiropractic care must spend a minimum of at least 4,200 hours with their teacher, and a minimum of 1,000 hours of fully supervised clinical training with an instructor as they learn the appropriate diagnosis and treatment techniques to help heal your body and restore it to its natural, fully functioning state.

At Epic Performance our chiropractic team is ready to meet with you to discuss your needs. We will help to design a program that is right for you. We look forward to meeting you.
